I grew up in a small town outside of San Marcos called Wimberley and graduated from there in 2016. After high school, I went to LSU for two years and enjoyed it a lot there. After my second year there I decided I wanted to move back closer to home and spend more time with my family. Now I have one semester left at Texas State University and I plan on getting my master's degree.
I now live in a house right off campus and enjoy the five minute walk to class everyday. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my two cats, Milo and Juan, and traveling when I have the time. I know I don't have many summers left so I try to make the most out of them by traveling to places like Colorado, Montreal, and New Orleans. I plan on doing a week long camping trip with some friends this summer to backpack 40 miles along Oregon's beautiful coast.
Another one of my passions is food. Although I do enjoy my own cooking, I will never turn down the opportunity to try someone else's. With food there is a lot more to enjoy than just the taste; the stories behind some of our favorite foods and recipes is also something to be cherished. I try and learn as many inspirations behind cooking and the cultures around them to truly love food.
